A concept short-format show following the grit, hustle and community that surround culinary characters in the making. “Trial By Fire” is a project conceived by Ryan Neal Cordwell. Episode 01, & 02 showcase Chef Rene Andrade through his time in Austin at Aaron Franklin’s Hot Luck Fest, and in Chicago as he unknowingly prepares to accept the James Beard 2024 award for Best Chef Southwest.
